Westfalia was building series-production camping conversions back in the 1950s – long before anyone said 'vanlife'. That experience shows today in proven layouts that work in everyday travel rather than short-lived experiments.

How compact are Westfalia camper vans in everyday use?

The shortest models start at around 5.41 m, which keeps them manageable in town. On all camper vans the height of roughly 2.55 m is the limiting factor: multi-storey car parks with 2.00 to 2.30 m clearance are off limits.

How is spare parts availability with Westfalia?

Westfalia has a wide dealer network and good parts availability because many components come from volume production. Servicing, leak tests and repairs are handled in our own workshop – on older vehicles too.

Do you upgrade Westfalia vehicles for more off-grid capability?

Yes. Lithium batteries, DC-DC chargers, solar, inverters, EFOY fuel cells and composting toilets are fitted to measure – cabinetry changes come from our own joinery, mounts from the metal shop. Where Westfalia offers a sensible factory pack, we recommend it for new orders.
