Security: additional locks and alarm systems

Security starts mechanically and ends digitally. We combine visible additional locks that deter with alarm systems that respond when it matters – cleanly installed, without visible cables or unnecessary holes in furniture.

Upgraded and converted as a whole

From manufacturer to workshop: we can do almost everything ourselves.

Togo Reisemobile used to be a manufacturer. That experience now lives in over 1,200 m² of workshop space – with our own joinery, upholstery, metal shop and 3D printing for precise templates. We work with original manufacturer parts and materials so conversions look factory-made.

Our rule: where it makes sense, we rely on the manufacturer's factory options. For special cases, retrofits and used vehicles we do almost everything in-house.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I order security equipment with a new vehicle?
Many manufacturers offer alarm and locking packs ex works – we recommend that for new orders. Extras such as gas detectors, additional locks or a safe we retrofit in a single appointment.
    How long does installation take?
Additional locks usually take one day, alarm systems with GPS tracking one to two days. We are happy to combine the appointment with a service or leak test so your vehicle only needs one workshop visit.
    Which additional locks make sense?
Mechanical locks on the sliding door and rear doors have proven themselves: they visibly deter from outside and work without power. We fit them so that seals and bodywork stay intact and the doors still close easily.
Is an alarm system with GPS worth it?
If the vehicle is left unattended for longer periods, yes. You get movement and break-in alerts on your phone and can pass the location to the police in case of theft. Some insurers reward this with better terms.
Where can a safe sensibly be installed?
We bolt safes out of sight under the bench seat, in the double floor or inside existing cabinets. The panels are made in our own joinery so nothing is noticeable from outside.
Do you also retrofit used vehicles and other brands?
Yes. Across more than 1,200 m² of workshop space we work on all brands – with original manufacturer parts, our own metal shop for mounts and 3D printing for precise templates.
